With a background as a cellist, having studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Tim joined K&A after working as an independent record producer, engineer and editor. In addition to this he engaged in work as a freelance cellist and teacher. During that time he also incorporated video production of classical music into his work.
He has worked extensively around the UK as well as abroad in Ireland, Spain, Denmark, Liechtenstein, the United States, and Hong Kong for many world class orchestras and artists on recordings for labels including Decca, Hyperion, and Naxos. Recent critical acclaim for productions include Gramophone editors choice (Robert Saxton: Scenes from the Epic of Gilgamesh & The Resurrection of the Soldiers) and 5 stars for recording in BBC music magazine (Czerny: Piano Concertinos & Fantaisie et Variations brillantes sur une Romance de Blangini).
Outside of recording, Tim enjoys photography, cooking and playing football.
